owning is the best way to go.make sure its cleared so you wont have any sudden problems if the owner finds out or there insurance shows up.personally with all i have i have to own but if your talking 1-2 dogs you can find the willing rentee.

3-5 in an apartment? Must be a bloody big apartment. But I agree with ORM either buy or rent to own.

you can get away with having mutliple dogs renting BUT its a huge risk if the landlord doesnt know and they will most likely find out via snoopy neighbors

to add to that even if its oked then say land lord swithes insurance or they drop by it could turn bad quick.most landlords use the best priced insurance that fits there needs not the renter.

And I doubt the landlord would want those "chainspot plugs" in their yard.

I own. I wouldnt like to do rent because I want to be the boss of my own home, if I want 45 bulldogs I can because I don't rent.

I do a little real estate.
If you rent drive around in the areas you like and look for generic For Rent by Owner signs call and if possible meet up with the owner and just be out right honest. If you rent from a Real Estate company they will break your balls to much.
If you buy make sure if it has a HOA that the HOA doesnt have breed restrictions and check the number of dogs allowed too.

Room 304 is a lot cheaper than the Atlanta area.
