How accurate is the OFRN history written on most red nose web sites....I mean I've been following and trying to trace most of the dogs named in these stories and I would barley see a ch or gr ch in the ped's either by the ancestors or the offsprings...or it does'nt matter???????

I was once smitten by the ofrn dogs. All the stories about great dogs such as centipede, Wallace dogs and such had me believing that was the way to go. Trial and error has taught me almost all ofrn dogs ain't worth the trouble, just peddled shells of the dogs of old. The advice that kinda got me headed in the right direction was "look for the new family rednose". This is dogs down from redboy, tombstone and others. Also avoid web dogs get out and do your homework. There a hundred people willing to rip you off for every honest one.

Notice that there is no "nose" at the end of the name.

Most modern kennels that sell "Old Family Red Noses" will not have any working titles for their dogs.

Patrick blood, Jeep dogs themselves are "technically" OFR's. They're Colby dogs. If your really cynical you might want to look up the old Komosinski blood.
