how cold is to cold

If working one outside, what is the lowest temp you would work one?

 

I can do mid to low 40s, if SERIOUS. Maybe high 30s, no wind, no snow. For maintenance or "fun," the 50s. I hate the cold.

 

More worried about my hound lol should I get a sweater & doggies boots? Or they do fine in the cold? It will be mid 30's lil windy

I suggest if you work in cold weather you make sure you slowly warm the dog up to the point the dog doesn't feel the cold weather and then you can work them out.It's like if I start walking them on a chilly day it takes me awhile b4 I even be come comfortable out there then it's on.I have the opposite problem with my 13 and half year old dog the heat is to much for him now so it's either early morning or late evening walks in the summer.I had him out there today he still trots along at a slow jogging pace for a good mile then walks another 3 on my days off.
