How to stop dog from getting cold

Whats up everybody my dog mama is 2yrs old now and she will not keep any bedding in her house at all I have tried straw chips blankets everything she destroys the blankets and digs all the straw and chips out until theres none left inside. I even put a 4inch high board attach to her house to try and stop her but she still does it. I dont want any thing to happen to her the nights r getting really cold and now she has the other dog trying to do the same thing HELP. before I lose y dogs to the cold. P.S I cannt bring them all inside.:confused::eek:

I have a couple that I had to bring in over the years when certain types of weather came through. One of mine would get on his house and bark at rain, thunder, snow lightening maybe he was a golfer in his last life lolol got him pissed. Sucks but better than the weather getting the best of your animal. The off the ground idea sounds good..works for sled dogs!

 

nice I got my set up pretty similar except mine has the inside boarder for the dog to huddle up and to prevent the straw from coming out. But its a bit colder by me than by you.

 

put a little kids hoody or a small t shirt on her, i go to the thrift store and stock up on kids clothes for my dogs. its better than nothing! its 20 degrees outside right now here in central florida and snowed this morning where im at, all the dogs are wearing camo t shirts, i must say they are a lot warmer and they look cool too!

 

I stuff the house with white pine and cedar shavings. I also put up a board to keep the shavings in and have something for the dog to sleep up against. Covered the opening with an old blanket to keep out wind.

 

Wow, lucky for my dogs to be living here in a tropical country. The downside though is this EL NIñO phonomena. Its up to 42 degrees centigrade nowadays
