No problem with me, fuck a 4,000 dollar Pomeranian or a 6,500 English Bulldog pup. Doesn't change what I'll breed.

  5. There are enough dogs in the shelter. Go there and get one. I don't mind this news. I love animals, but I don't think you have to do business to buy a particular breed of dog or cat.

A year ago, I adopted a husky dog, not for the breed but because he was the most helpless in that shelter. Now it's a big dog that my two sons enjoy. Yes, it takes time and money to take care of a pet, but it's worth it. It is worth paying for that insurance so that your pet is safe. If you need a pet insurance recommendation, see petinsurancereview.com, here; you will find many reviews on any insurance.

Well, there are people out there that need dogs that are bred for purpose not just denting a couch all day. Shelters tend to be the dumpling grounds for unethical breeders culls.

The " adopt don't shop" crowd thinks dogs are interchangeable at tasks and they aren't. They also believe they are adopting when in fact you are buying the dog, they just replace the word SELLING with ADOPTING however, you are buying the dog.

Dogs in shelters typically tend to be there because they failed at what their owners expected of them and instead of culling it like they should have done, they take it to the shelter so it becomes someone else's problem. I'd rather support ethical breeders who place well than support shelters that are packed with dogs from breeders trying to capitalize on the pure bred fad and instead of taking care of their dogs that don't cut it, they dump them on someone else to deal with. They shame ethical breeders of dogs and blame them for the packed shelters when in fact that simply is not reality.

I'm not against adopting. If you just want a pet or something to do like fun events, agility etc. than a shelter dog is probably perfect for you. If you need a dog for a specific task, the shelter isn't where you want to get your dog from more times than so. I'm sure you can find a good one here and there in the shelters, for a purpose but for the most part, your just buying someone else's problem dog.

My local shelter admitted on their Facebook they hate all breeders and they want people to just go get the leftover mutt man biting trash at their shelters

My opinion.....I think when shelters bash breeders and breeders bash shelters it really defeats the purpose of what their end goal is. A lot of good dogs end up in shelters for numerous reasons....owners are idiots, owners did not do research on their breed of choice and have no clue what they are doing, dogs with genetic issues that cannot be fixed (in that case, the dog should be put down, if those issues mean the dog will rip your head off for no reason). A lot of shelters are also money making machines that don't give a shit about the dogs and just want to make money.
Same goes for breeders....there a a lot of good breeders and then there are your breeders that throw two dogs together and hope it sticks.

The spca in my parts will cost you $500 in fees to get a dog out the door. And I would bet over 50% have major health issues and that's why they were dumped there in the first place.
