Ch. Jeep was born in August 1976 on the yard of James Crenshaw, in the famous litter of Finley's Ch. Bo ROM to Crenshaw's Ch. Honeybunch ROM. That produced four champions.Garrett's Ch. Jeep ROM died in the fall of 1989

Thats just the information I found trying to find your answer. I do not have first hand knowledge of his death date or circumstance.

 

He died after the hunt with Homer and they used His Brother CH.Charlie in his place to keep the pups come'n out and the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ roll'n in.....

I really doubt they used Charlie, he doesn't look like Jeep at all. I thought Jeep died in 1989 also. But that seems old for a dog that lived the life he did. I know ol' Boomerang lived till he was 18, supposedly.

Man its a shame....LOL These dogs have more gossip surrounding them then the girls bathroom in high school. All these grown men and the few women who are in these dogs, it seems like everyone is worried about what the next person is doing with their dogs or what they didnt do with their dogs. If people would just worry about their own dogs alot of people would be better off and so would these dogs.

I think folks find the historical nature of these legendary dogs interesting.....maybe I'm wrong but I find it interesting to hear about the celebreties of the doggin world. JMO
