I second that. In my town that screams "come raid me" or "come bother me every month about my dogs". I know its perfectly fine to let a dog use one of those but the AC doesn't care.

son of a b*tch. i want that. i dont have pit bulls, but bull terriers, and I would put it in my yard easily. its dog powered, right?

  4. The proper name for that is a catmill. A jenny is what is used to excersize horses and the word jenny comes from the female mule that was used to entice the horses to walk that was called a jenny.

Unfortunately, none of those videos show the proper way to use a catmill and the one being offered for sale is much too small and will cause much more harm than good. If you don't know how to use a catmill you should not use one as it can do alot of damage to your dog when used improperly.
If you want to use a catmill then you must be prepared to spend some money and do it right. That one for sale is a very good base with which to begin and at 200 its a great price. BUT,, you will have to at least double the length of the arms for it to be safe and add some supports if you are going to work a bulldog on it. So be prepared to throw in some more money and if you do then you will have about the best conditioning tool there is IMO.

Here is a picture of a properly made catmill, its diameter is 57' (28.5' per arm).

Remember, you can take the top off and have it placed in the back of the yard like scrap or junk.

I agree this is a very well built mill. Look like one used for working Greyhounds.

if im wrong by all means be the first to smack me upside the head for it, but isnt this just an excuse to be lazy?

cant regular roadwork or them running with a bike put the same condition that any jenny mill or treadmill can?

like i said if im wrong then shit sign me up, ill build one where im at.

but if im right ill just stick to the roadwork and bike running!

You could look at it as being lazy . But its a controlled workout , no dogs running loose , no glass to cut pads up on . and if a dog gets hurt during a workout you dont have to carry him or walk him miles back to the house to take care of him . You dont have to worry about a dog eating something off the ground .

if you have 10-20 dogs its not a fact of lazy, but not having enough time or energy left! For the 45 min walk to the park and back.
