Line's and Dog's

Are there lines that arn't that obidiend and Submissive to his owner like Staffies normaly are ? A little bit suspicious to strangers?
I take strong, courageous and driven as given if we talk about working SBT 's.

 

I find SBT and APBT are generally friendly towards people , love attention , I find Shepherds make great guard dogs , I use one my self as a watch dog

 

If i watch the Malinois i can get different traits in certain lines. I assume in SBT lines it is similar . But it is difficult , there are manny Storys and myth's . Often it is a self fulfilling prophecy. But i know all staffies love the companionship with humans.
