Little guy found hanging around my moms house

This little guy has been hanging around at my moms house for a few days now, rope around his neck, no tags, any takers?







He kinda looks like Soldier except for all that white on his face.And his head is dif. shaped.

 

Awww! What a little cutie! From the pics he looks like a little brindle boxer pup. Have you posted any "found puppy" flyers? I'm sure someone is looking for him!

 

My moms posted them as i'm about 20min from here and couldn't do it, but she thinks she has a n idea who's it is but they will not come forward as they are the....ummm....BYB, trashy, throw away dog type. She thinks they consider it, found a home, this is not the first time this person has dumped on my moms property. The pup has been there a few weeks already and the rope around his neck is a trademark of the guys who dumps on her property.

I wish I could help, as I love Boxers, but if I brought home another dog, esp. another big dog, my husband would blow a gasket.

I hope you find the little critter a home.

 

if he has been there a few days/weeks take the rope off his neck, give him a bath and some food.
what do you mean any takers? as in adoption or as to what breed of dog that is?

 

I mean adoption, the rope has been taken off his neck, this was a pic my mom sent when she first found him at her door I didn't get the pic or know about the pup until yesterday, the dog is being given shelter and food and water right now, I know he has some bully type breed in him but not sure what.

What a bunch of scumbaggs.
If she (your mom) calls up the local gazette they usually will put in a lost-found ad for free.
Also have her call the local shelter's and give them her number so If anyone comes looking for the pup they can reach her.
She could also ask pet stors if she could put up a found/to a good home flyer in there window.
Call up the local vets and give them a description of the dog and may be they know who he belongs to. They will probably also allow you to put up a found/ to a good home flyer,
He is verry cute and if you or your mom can't take him I'm sure that you won't have to difficult of a time finding him a good home.

 

I showed my husband the picture and he ran out of the room saying "no, no, no" and shaking his head.

 

LOL Aww Come on, he knows he wants him! From what i've ben told he's very affectionate and easy going, Thanks for the advice i'll tell my mom, she lives somewhat in back woods country so theres not much out there, its very common there for byb to do things like this, and noone cares there, AC won't even do anything.I hope i can find him a home...

 

aaawww i want him!but of course i want all puppies i see....cute little thing shouldnt be too hard to find him a home.

How long can you or your mom keep him for?

 

I know my mom doesnt want to keep him so i guess if i can't find a home between now and then i'll pick him up friday until one is found, but moneys tight so i don't know if i can get him his shots etc as soldiers just started his first round...But i will try.

 

Oh you too huh? UGH!!!! Mine actually requested that I stop looking on shelter sites because he hates to see me get so worked up.....the ass! I'm like we have the room and the means to care for one.......and then he pointed out that Rory ate a leg to a dining chair that morning...... so....ugh...... yea....JERK!!!

 

what area of the country you in?where i work puppy shots are pretty cheap ,eighteen $ a round.

 

I'm in Ga, The US, Cost me for their first set and up about 100 per visit.

 

You can always go to the co-op or vet catalog & get them for about $5 ea. Frisky.

 

If you have the time I think pet co. does rabies clinics. Also a vet will sometimes allow you to make a payment plan arrangement. Something like $25 a week for 4 weeks isn't bad.

 

Well I have four and I'm getting 5 pups from ShadyRidgeKennels. So space is becomming an issue.

 

U know i can always take one or 2 of those pups off ur hands if need be, u know just tryin to be a nice guy LOL
