Yes, greenhorn/newbie mean new to the dogs. It's not a bad thing to be new and uneducated if you're willing to learn and except the fact that you don't know much and don't go around pretending to be a know it all or trying to be something you're not yet. And being green you might as well expect to be the butt end of a few jokes, just don't take it personal. Only place to learn about bulldogs is by bulldoggers which is generally a pretty rough bunch who teach the same way they were taught. Just gotta be true to yourself.
