    Hey who all is going to Mardi Gras next year??? I can't wait to see Wild Tchoupitoulas, them Indians always was my favorite coming from the 10th ward

    I highly doubt I'll go even though I have yet made it to N.O. I do want to go visit but I doubt it'd be during that week.

    I've been to the boot but the furthest I made it was Alexandria. I want to go to N.O. but probably not with all them drunk tourist. I'd rather go and see how it is on a normal weekend. Couple of my homies from down here are from there so I might ride down with them sometime. I don't travel without my pistol but N.O. is on the list of cities that I take 2 pistols with me LOL.

    you and me both partner never travel wit out my sp101 that bitch is my road dawg!! copact and small but that MF is a five shot monster!! rather be judged by 12 than carried by six any day out the week!! im still down too tussell too im still good wit my hands!! lol but for real gotta watch those boys from the boot they will try and pull a fast one on you i was livin in dallas when katrina hit they were deep already but they flooded the state and we had a few problems out of them. lets just say they wanted in on an already established economy and there was no room for them soo well you know how it goes but we kept what was ours!! but alot of em was cool too just thought they were slicker than most.

    Oh yea, I'll throw down with the quickness. But you know these boys nowadays don't know how to fight. I'd rather be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. But in this situation considering I'd be out of town, you won't catch me arguing with nobody, nothing that serious to be arguing about. The only way I'd need the pistol is if somebody tried to jack me....and we all know in certain cities, that's a lot more common then in other cities lol and N.O. is one of em. Memphis is another, I love going to Memphis, but it's a 2 pistol city, no questions asked. Here in Dallas, only 1 is needed at most times, Dallas ninjas are soft (in general) IMO. Houston is a 2 burner city also. Anyway, back on topic....Cajun, if I do make it, I'll hit your pm and we'll burn some of this gas.

    Never been to NO either. Like treez said, I don't think I'd pick that week to go. Maybe 5 years ago, I'm the anti-fun these days lol

    Mardi Gras has a lot of tourist, but no matter when you go its all about where you go. You can go in December and get nothing but tourist experience if you stay around the French quarter

    Go uptown or downtown west of Canal St and you won't see many tourist really

    This is off topic, However I was down there with my Rollback Tow Truck working a few days after Katrina hit. The Military set up base at the Super-Dome as the last of the people got on the buses to leave Hell on Earth ! I stayed a month in that war zone. We stayed in Franklin ton, parish county. The local people, were some of the nicest folks i have ever met. I saw so much in such a short time....I would love to go next year under different circumstances !
