I grew up in West B-more off North Ave. I don't like plcking crabs so I'll take 2 crab cake ffrom the Winsor Inn. An a bowl of crab soup from fishermen worth.

 

Also can't forget Captain Harvey's in Southern Md. Not sure if they are still there. Also king butt 2 in A.A. co

With you on picking crabs, but I go with a softshell sangwich mmmmmmh. can't get that nowhere around here lol ain't that right braddy FL has a little different type of sea food.

 

I tried a place down here last weekend looking for blue crab, and they didn't have any...so I haven't even tried anything yet...but now you got me a little scared lol

 

How about pit bbq? Md is known for it

Nah man it ain't bad just different. U get steamed anything they don't know what old bay is let alone how much to put on. Think beer batter, shrimp n grits, blackend grouper, fried grouper. You get to st Pete I can tell you a spot or two, you get to Jax I will show u a spot or two.

At this point in my life my fishing endevours have overtaken my dog endevours(along with moving around and four kids lol), while I do try to keep up, read and support the cause. Spawn is on bro, gotta get me a fatty lil swamp donkey.

 

Wow. Biggest MD post I've ever read. Amazing as many of you spoke up, of course with a few already being out of state, haha. But yeah most in Maryland stay quiet, and to themselves and keep small circles. I agree that Va, well country VA (not northern VA) is a better state for the hounds. But nothing beats WV in my opinion.

Food, I got hungry reading all the crab posts. Damn!! Crabs and butter, and corn, and everything else that goes down during a feast. They're still enjoyable, but damn do I miss the 80's crabs as a kid. A small back then is like a jumbo now, haha.

We run mostly the top side, but the bottom side gyp was an addition like a yr or so ago.

 

NICE bred doggies CAINE.MORROCCO sure produced well, an old friend (who since passed away RIP) named DIRTY DIXON had a son of MORROCCO named CRYBABY that he got from HARDCORE BENNY (RIP also) and CAROLINA KNLS HIPPIE RALPH .His ped is under HARDCORE AND SMOKED OUT knls LIL BULLDOG, He won two races in over two and half hours each one against DOGSOLDIER if I recall right. Ralph offered me the dog for $500 ready to go and i regretfully questioned it.He placed the dog with DIRTY as the dog was ready,and the dog mysteriously died in his third keep.SOLID HOUNDS>>>
On another note anyone whom might know Greesie in Baltimore Please tell him to contact Elias, I MISS DIRTY DIXON
and I am looking for some of his old aquintance that i didnt see at his funeral.I seen that the Journal published a storey that i would love to read and apperciate any responses from someone that might have read it or might remember DIRTY. THANKS AGAIN MARYLAND FANCIERS.

 

Steve was a good friend when I was in the service in Jville. If you went into a hound he had in keep you knew it was going to be a long night. Jessie wrote the story.
