    JRSPITS:
Sounds good to me. I am still waiting to see the mill and it in action. I won't buy anything, unless I see it.

I also have a friend, in the Detroit area who makes them as well. His prices are higher, but, if this falls through I will be buying one from my buddy in Detroit area.

I already have 2 e-mills. I want something different and from what i've read and heard, a slat mill is the way to go. Better than e-mills and carpet mills (even if it's a GCM) We'll see what happens.

    Thanks JRSPITS!

They've both got their uses depending on what area of the dog needs work. I've been told slat for lean muscle/wind and carpet to bulk up a bit. Either way, that's not a bad price. I know a couple of folks who make 'em, but they're nearly double in price.

    Shadow:

    1. Who do you know that makes them? In the detroit (I think you're around there) area?

    2. Are you coming to the snow pull in LUNA PIER next week (12-31/09-1/3/10)?

    Andrew

I've heard similiar things. The only thing, i've 'heard' about the carpet mills is how some of them wear out so easily. The carpet/belt/whatever needs to be replaced frequently. Heck, i don't know, we'll see what happens.

I'll be at Luna Pier most of the weekend. If I get Lyric's actual competition harness in, we'll give her a shot and see how she likes snow pulls. I'll bring the business card I've got for the guy who does 'em. I don't know if he wants me to put his name out on the Internet. :)

And it's true about the carpets wearing on GCMs, but the Colby carpet mills seem to have a longer lasting belt - at least talkin' with someone who's got one (I do adore that mill for sure though!) - but I couldn't turn down the $20 price I paid for my GCM. :D
