I had to flip a coin between him and a punch/rainbow/jiggs male I bred some years back. I chose the punch/rainbow/jiggs dog because of his age. He is a few years older than Wrangler. At his age I am not sure how much linger he will produce and as a matter of fact, she did not take. Somewhat disappointed. I will be taking her sister back to him when she comes back in.

How is the Lexxus dogs doing? Wrangler dogs doing? S

Mimms type dogs are only as good as were you source them. There are so many yards running or should I say peddling it. People just
    breeding there dogs because...

    1. They cant afford a great stud
    2. There homeboy has a Mimms type dog they can breed to free plus he will do it for a female so he can breed back
to her and have tight stuff. LOL
    3. Has a bullshit job and sees his female as an income, breeds and keeps 1 female so now he has 2. These pups go for $250
    4. They decide to team up and called themselves something something kennels lol. So they can look cool because they got dogs on chains
    behind there house.

In the short time I spent in the area I lived it was nuts to see how many fly by night yards came and went and bred crazy amounts of
pups with Mimms named tagged on them as a way to get the next newbi.

Listen with this blood you really got to slow down and find the real deal or you will be waisting your time and money big time.
Also Mimms dog came in many different varieties. So do your homework and dont let what you hear be the deciding factor with what you decide.

  12. A very well composed post there my friend.

Any dog line is only as good as the dog men you get them from! One of the most important things is trying to make sure the breeding are correct the other half is the Dogman getting the most out the hound all that makes the dog!! And as far as the mims dogs his name holds more weight than most these hounds out here today IMO and if anyone has yard full of dogs chained up in the back of there yard in 2014 u best believe they most likely A Dogman that is a rare find today. Now people will talk and type all day long ask for proof see what u get . Most of the people that have a problem with what others have most of the time mad they can't do it!

I've seen this happen with other bloodlines aswell !
imo for every one "real " dogman theres at least two
or three wannabe's who have no love for these dogs
and see them as their personal ATM ! which is sad ...

I live right her in the backyard of the Mims dogs, and a few more minutes down the road to the "Bulldog Hill" of Mr. Garner. Both have put their fair share out there. Across the board the Mims dogs have been more consistently game. With that said, the right dog coming from these two via the right person and that is a hard combination to beat. A low caliber dog coming from low caliber people is just that, low caliber. This applies to any and every line of dogs. Coon dogs, rabbit dogs, race car parts, grass seed, does not matter, as low caliber is low caliber.

People must always remember in every dog purchase on the planet it is a buyer's beware market. Some go out of their way to safeguard their eventual purchase. Some go out of their way to screw themselves by running with money in hand to the first thing they see. Neither of these should be the results of someone's name three or four generations back.
