    The movie "Cinderella Man" James J Braddock based on a true story. a must-see movie In my opinion. it is a movie of desperate times, good morals hard work , & a Never Say Die attitude. This Man (rip) is American Hero in my opinion.

    Agreed with the disciplined vs. undisciplined comment.

    There was a guy near here, into the dogs, and when MMA was skyrocketing took his 'not scared-street/bar room righting skill set' to a local gym. He took BJJ for about six months and did some MMA training along the way.

    He then chose to compete in an actual MMA fight against the advice of just about anyone with a brain. I remember telling him that the 'newest/hot running/up and comer' that we see on TV has like 10 years on the mat/in the gym/in the ring before we ever see them. But his best comment was, "I ain't scared" so then I reminded him not being scared and being stupid sometimes went hand in hand.

    He was 31 and the guy he went in the ring was 25 or 26. It got ugly, and it got ugly quick. In our world, I would have picked up as it was that bad. We all had to promise to not throw in the towel for him, we agreed, and his beat down was unmerciful.

    So even prepped, ready, and well conditioned, going into a skill job without the pre-requisite skills will not end well.

    I read what Max said, Actually Fury is talking with Miocic about a fight. If its Boxing rules, I would have to thing Fury would more than likely win. However if it MMA rules???     what about the rest? the rest either got knocked the fuck out or choked, the fact silva could do something does not mean it will work for 99% of other fighters. silva had issues with good wrestlers anyways

    Incorrect, although he is an expert in bjj as a black belt he is not high level and did not come from the bjj scene but from the Brazilian Muay Thai scene. He is originally from chute boxe, famous Muay Thai based mma team in Brazil.
