My declaration

I am not a breeder of apbts , but merely a fancier of the breed. I am not a dogman as nothing I've done will qualify me as one, I am merely a fancier with a deep passion for what a true working apbt supposed to be.
In the 23 years I have had these dogs I most probably did less than 10 breedings with dogs I believed were worthy to be bred. The results of which were average, thus confirming that I should leave such things to those that know better. Of those breedings none left my circle of influence. I can state with clarity and truth that no one on fb or whatsapp or any other social media platform can say that they paid me, Mashamplan, for a pup. I can extend that to say that no one anywhere can say that they paid me for a pup.
That could just mean that what I run is of no interest to the hardcore dogmen out there, and that's probably true. I have no interest of making money from these dogs so breeding and selling doesnt interest me. Those few times I did breed, was because myself and the couple guys working with me felt that we would get dogs better than their parents while retaining the traits we desired in the parents, and so whole litters were kept amongst us and raised. None were made available to the general public or the man in the street.
I'm glad i did not contribute to the negative state the breed is perceived in by the public in general, whilst acknowledging that I may have in the past perhaps contributed in other ways.
I declare that I will continue to not breed and make pups or dogs available to the public in general and irresponsible owners. I declare that I will not contribute to the negative reputation of of this breed in the public's eyes through action or word and that I will do my utmost to promote a positive image of our breed without pandering to the idiots in the public or within the fraternity. I will not pass on information to those that dont need to know, and not try to convince the I'll informed otherwise at the expense of this breed.

 

We need more people like u. You know exactly what u can and what u can’t many people don’t know the differences. You are a great personality. I hope the new ones get their eyes open and learn something from your declaration. We all can learn from this declaration. Being honest to your self is something not everyone can do

 

The truth is sometimes a hard pill to swallow
