Does anyone know anything about a perineal hernia? Just started my yard 2 and a half years ago with a male and female. Found out my male may have it. Can he live with it? For surgery they said he would need to be neutered which really isn’t an option. Thanks in advance

also the lump under his anus isn’t hard yet. it’s still soft. I am assuming it might have been caused cause he doesn’t drink a lot of water for some reason and that causes him to strain. If anyone has some recommendations I greatly appreciate it!

Damn thats fukd up. Never experienced this. Never heard of human needing to be neuter after procedure. But they do suggest to women if need a c-section to get tubes tied for free...because they are already inside. If vet recommendation and possible "dog hugger" compared to "our" community the latter maybe the notion. Other experiences is hernia can be deadly if enlarged and basically hanging. Hope all gets well and please keep the forum updated.
