Why in the hell are you wanting to take 2 breeds with uncompatiable genetics to create a dog that you have no idea will work & in the process leave us with more BSL? It's called a mutt! If you are truly interested in a working pit bull mix, go with a bandogge. At least those dogs were truly bred for a purpose (not some fantasy dream) & have proven their purpose.

Geez people, we do NOT need anymore mutts in this world! If you loved the APBT as much as you claim to wisconsin, you would NOT want to mix the blood! To love something is to love it in it's entirety & not want it to change. Yet you are wanting to change it. Doesn't make sense. Work on "perfecting" the APBT, not ruining it.

Well, that was fun. Typed up a page long response and my computer crashed . Here we go again, this is NOT fightfantasy.com. I'm sick and tired of reading "my dog can beat your dog up" ....grow up and pull your head out of your behind. This site was created for talk of the American Pitbull Terrier, and other "pitbull" type breeds. Enough with the "I know a akita mix that can beat your pit" or "I have a kangal who would kill a pit". Do you know who was intrested in playing these immature games....Kingdobe, Knuckles, Dr.King, etc etc. Talking of this BS merely shows you know nothing about real matchdogs and must make up stories about other breeds, or backyard rolls to try and look intelligent. Heres a hint, it doesnt work! If you want to act like jr. high kids...take it somewhere else. This site is too good to be ruined by little kids who are just having a dog-fighting wet dream.

I don’t feel that cross is consistent nor is the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com /><st1:City w:st=Akita</ST1:p</st1:City> a true fighting dog. If they were a true fighting breed one wouldn’t have to go back to the Edo-Taisho era’s to show its fighting history. They are a big game hunter developed in the Tohoko district. I think it became a “fighting breed” more so by those exporting/importing them to the states in the 60-70’s. Not sure and really don’t care one way or the other. I feel if they were actually a “fighting breed” they’d the Japanese would still be using them. They (Japanese) have crossed the Tosa’s and APBT’s with countless breeds in hopes of getting a better fighter. They’ve used/tried Kishu’s, Dogo’s, Neapolitans, Presa’s, Dogue’s, AB’s, etc. even was told by a dogmen about a wolf cross. Inevitably though with all those crosses they was never able to get the consistency needed to be competitive in the ring, so they was culled and the experiment eliminated. Unlike here in the states these days-culling doesn’t seem to be an option like it once was nor is there a plan for said breeding outcome.

Wisconsindogs...I've seen female cats humping male dogs, doesnt mean its at all common! Take the BS to another board, I'm sick of it. Even more so, what you are talking about is illegal, and incredibly stupid to admit on the internet.

i said seen it was i was young talking the pure akita and they were used a highly regarded fighting dog the tosa is a wrestling dog and the sport there with tosas is not like here at all when they did use the akitas it was the best fighting dog and these guys are like 1oo lbs and would plobly crush most breeds including ars but as FAR AS pikita inu besting the apbt i dont know really no one does unless they seen it

And the number one reason for doing any breeding! Congrats, you can now be called one of the greats---> Great Back Yard Breeders! Wear your title well, all the while ruining a great breed.

Mixing those two breeds, in my opinion, is going to be very dangerous. There are gunna be alot of dog bites from it.

If you are going to get something to guard your yard, please make it something other than a "pit bull" or "pit bull" cross. That way when it bites someone, we don't see headlines of "Pit Bull Attacks Again" or "Pit Bull Mix Rips Guys Arm Off".

Please don't think I'm passing judgements. I should've put in "if the dog bit someone...even someone who's trespassing". I just know the media will jump on anything that's a "pit bull" or "pit bull" mix.

No one is saying don't get another breed. Just get one that designed for the job & doesn't have "pit bull" in it.

Im sorry, I got this far and couldnt stand it anymore!!!I didnt even bother to read the rest so people forgive me if I repeat something-WTF-are you proud of dog fighting? You make statements as if you watched in amusement. Are you not aware dog fighting is illegal and bragging about your breed being tougher then our breed is NOT going to get you noticed by anyone that may just be looking to bust someone for having pleasure in dog fighting and showing an undoubtedly strong interest in building a killing machine???You are making me sick.
