I've noticed that a lot of younger people subscribing to the belief that "family" or "tight" bred dogs can't compete, and that you have to cross it when breeding to look for success. And also that shit dogs that are cold are for "brood" purposes only! What the hell has happened to good ole common sense???

Along with many other things, it's faded with the older generation. Sad to say, the world in general will never be the same.

I think the key is that SOME of our younger generation almost refuse to acknowledge and understand that it's WHY someone makes a breeding with two dogs, no matter what is in mind. What matters is that there is or was good, solid knowledge of the possibilities and probabilities involved in those future dogs they're creating. They seem to think things are cookie cut, and that because some schmuck does something that it's how you do it.

They read and it's instant shake n bake success in their minds. No patience to learn what quality actually consists of nor what it is when and if they see it. No patience to experience why solid x solid equals solid and breed them accordingly no matter if tight, loose, or anywhere in between. This is why they constantly ask what they will get if they breed their such and such line dog to their such and such line dog. Generalizing and looking for the golden egg they just know they'll get instantly instead of experiencing the reality of it all.

They jump on bandwagons and ride while fist pumping their new find. The magic formula without learning to qualify the WHYS as to breeding two dogs together. Many of them are the epitome of haste makes waste. It's sad for them, yet it's their own damned fault, because as they holler for mentors, they won't endure any apprenticeships in order to learn the right ways from them, instead, letting the so-called easy and quick way to stardom from some Dick Dastardly in their neighborhood or on the net be their guide. The MISinformation highway, indeed.

Go on youtube and look at the noobs and there marketing schemes, there hilarious. Calling pups bulldogs and the pup is only 4 months old. Naming names of ancestors past and the only reason there supposed stud is being bred. There breeding dogs simply because they have them for the all mighty dollar. Before you know it they fizzle out but have 20+ dogs and get in over there head. This spells doom for the poor dogs. It's just a repetitive shit show.

Yes I've noticed that most these days assume that by breeding dogs from two different lines that have shown success before will be successful for them. Forgetting about the quality of the individual dogs in a breeding. Just because it works for me doesn't mean it'll work for you, and vice versa

And the marketing of the noobs is indeed hilarious. They will sell you something that doesn't exist, and insist your the dumbass if you call bullshit

I know of a couple of people who are known goof butts in these dogs in real life, yet they have a following on facebook. A conniver usually knows where to connive. Seems the net makes things all too convenient for lying and cheating for those prone to do so. This is why patience and learning how to weed through bullshit is a must for any sincere newcomer.
