Nustock Advice

My 11month old pup has an area about halfway down his tail where the hair is about half length. It's almost as if someone took a clipper to it. It's not completely gone but shorter than the rest. He is fawn colored and this area is lighter. It has been this way for about 4 months. No change negative or positive. He doesn't scratch at it or bite it.

My question is, if I try Nustock and it doesn't do anything, will it do any harm?

Or should I just take him to the vet first to make sure its not something else? I can always do that, I just thought I would give nustock a try and if that works to grow back the hair, cool.

I have used it and was amazed by the results I always keep some in my cupboard as it is some good stuff that actually works I had a bitch who chewed her leg raw put it on and within a week it was healed and the hair started growing back like new within a few weeks the only downside is it stinks

    Thanks, I just ordered some.

I just wanted to double check that if I tried it and it happened to not work (grow back the hair) that it at least wasn't going to do any harm to him or that area in terms of permanent damage.

I use a mix calle Mane and Tail Grow. Its used for fungus, rain rot, girth itch, dry skin, bug bites, etc. Works great for me and promotes healthy hair grow.

I was told if your dog has chapped or dryness at the ends of there ears or tips of the tails that it's a fungus infection....best thing to use is athletes foot cream like Tinactin and it should go away.

  9. I agree with Gorilla to some point. I doubt nu-stock will help as it doesn't sound like it's a problem with any infection. Sounds more like it's rubbing against something. I would try and observe where the problem is coming from and treat the problem instead of the symptom.
