I don't know much on Montana dogs, but yes NKK went through some personal problems around time Montana and Boon were young and they got passed to DD, he honoured both NNK and dogs, but the vision, contacts, costs I believe was all NKK, the clue in the name of Montana's brother and the NKK & DLC partnership.. I doubt anyone could have asked for a better dogman to take on them prospects than DD, his knowledge, input and commitment was impressive, but IMO anyone who ever owned a dog or cross off breeding below has got NKK to thank for it

Twister was on yard at same time as CH. Swamper, sort of lived in Swamper's shadow with NKK focussing mostly on breeding Swamper.. I intended breeding Lonzo's Spider to Swamper until we looked at some offspring, I never liked them so bred to Scotsman's Max instead.. Don't blame NKK for putting his stack on Swamper, the man played at highest level and all he ever tried to do was better the breed, sadly Swamper never produced percentages he hoped for, eventually a couple of breedings got done with Twister and NKK hit the mother load.. Twister had exact same style as Smig's CH. Boogieman and he produced it.. For me the Traits Rustler's Chuckie & RSP's CH. Mack were notorious for, could be found in Twister's offspring and IMO the kicker is Twister and Smig's CH. Boogieman were litter brothers, just thinking out loud.

Redundancy money from Pit mate, that silly cow Margaret Thatcher never realised she was responsible for one of best lines of bulldogs ever in UK :-B

Have to say Odbod and his dogs deserve a book written on them, never mind a thread on Gamedog.. Apologies for drifting off subject, I'll try do better from here on.

Odd bod had seen a lot of dogs come and go and as I have stated before the bloke had a eye for the dogs his words were "bring them on they ain't nothin compared to my dogs".
The only line of dogs he really took a liking to was the kemmer blood.
His methodology on breeding and selection was second to non and that was part of his success.

A litter of 2 both males one went to the owner of the mother other one oddbod kept.
I seen the pup at 10 mnths old and he looked like a saluki whippet cross lol... he was the typical red grizzle colour of his dogs.
This is my next champion he said, I thought to myself his having a laugh, boy how wrong I was.
That male was a CH at 19 months old what a outstanding animal.
