old english bulldogs

What are your opinions in the old english bulldog? Like the olde english bulldog by leavitt Ort the gargoyles renascence bulldog Or the alternative oeb?

 

..no opinion on them,but heres a picture of what some b-dogs looked more like....i think the older type look..is best

 

You have to really do your homework and find a guy that's breeding for health and working beasts.Most breeders are just breeding on looks they like the pushed in face bad breathers.OEB are HUGE bulldogs now I'm thinking they reeeeally loaded up on the thicker working American bulldog lines.I heard HERMES is back like him or hate him he's really into it and bred some monsters in his day.I like the hermes and gargoyle stuff.I'd be more app to find some nutjob that bred a crazy fit OEB to a pitbull or working ebt as I'd just be looking for a short stocky crazy azz watchdog not looking to be a breeder.No matter who bred them there a very mixed breed these days.I'm thinking EB,,AB,,pitbull,,staff,,AMBULL,,bandog,,mastiffs,,you name it's in there.

 

A old friend got away from the real bulldogs(APBTs) and got into the Gargoyle style of olde english bulldogs...

Alot healthier than the english bulldogs that shouldnt exsist with out the help of man, but still as sloppy as can be...
The friend admits they cant hold a stick to the apbt bulldog and the bulldog look is the only real tribute to the dog world, if you like flat faces...
The american bulldogs that are bred and used for work are probably second best next to the real deal...
Form fits function, the apbt are a perfect bulldog while the other extreme is the english artificial inseminated, c-sectioned, gasping for air with there bad spines, fair weather bulldogs that people think are ligit...
Unfortunatly the bullypits are going backwards and taking something that isnt broke and ruining it, what a sham/shame...
