    Was it a surgical insemination?
    That's the only way the semen is put right in the uterus.
    Regular insemination doesn't do that.


    There is always a risk, of course, with surgery. Unless there are problems that make it unlikely a natural breeding won't take, I personally wouldn't do a surgical. You hear of them most often done with FROZEN semen, where you really DO up your chances with sperm that doesn't stay viable very long.
