I grew up as a teenager street racing , going to the Dragstrips ect. I took 9 years off and recently got a phone call from a Old Super stock car owner built by Halmon & Moody 1967 Ford Fairlane XL and was asked to drive for Mr Don the owner. It was a 2 day event at The Rock. Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham N C. So I went there and won 4 rounds on Saturday. I felt good being back in a Racecar, I was uncomfortable based on Mr Don is 6.4 285 lbs, I'm 5.9 170 lbs, so I couldn't reach the pedals in the car with out pulling myself up by the steering wheel. Lol. However I went on to win on Sunday. it feels good. I'm going to race again at Piedmont Dragway next Friday, Saturday, Sunday Footbrake Nationals. 10k 20k 10k payout. So pray for me , wish me luck. Below is the results from Rockingham and Articles about the winning racers from that Saturday and Sunday event..

54 birthdays… Does this Tyson/Jones Jr. exhibition bout have your interest? Does me. How will the beyond 50 athlete perform? Seems these two are as serious in training as ever; Tyson on social media says he’s 220 and wants future bouts too. RJJr says his hands are as fast as ever. Oscar DLH, another one saying he's ready to get back in the mix at 45..

I'm looking forward to it too GK1....I believe they going to have 2 minute rounds which is a lil disappointing....they be animalistic.
Jones Jr with his famous 'rooster strut' and Tyson with his infamous 'pitbull bite'...lol

Rjj my favorite boxer just ahead of Aaron Pryor. Never seen anything that looked so good in the ring. Would have been something to see Roy go into Mike after he won hw title.

Steve Collins looks to still have some issues towards RJJ.

Mike looks good. The weed and paote must have shaved some years off.

For me, I recently bought a side by side UTV. I built mud trucks and raced/mud slinged for a lot of years. The dogs sort of replaced that for quite some time. Some friends bought one and I watched some youtube videos. The bug struck and I bought one.

I did a local mud park and then went to Uwharrie National Part and did the rock trails. It was a lot more fun that I thought.

Calzaghe was durable with a high work rate and probably didn't get the credit he earnt and deserved from the USA fans. On the day is what goes into the record books.
( I'd have backed RJJ). With time they all become battle-weary ready or not. Respect to all....(sounds like Nigel is in Aussie chasing those 'sheilas'...lol)

I think they all go to the well one too many times. This is the only thing I worry about. Double edged sword. I am looking forward to the match but I am a little worried it will be an 'even longer' lasting health issue for either of them.

My brother in law was in the birds years ago and other than that not much on sports as whole. He was showing me some video of the birds from a major gathering in Louisiana and as the camera scrolled I was like that guy looks familiar. Then in another the same guy was in an "owner's type suite" in the Phillipines. I said that is RJJ. He said, "Yeah, he is suppose to be some kind of boxer or something". I was thinking a bit more than that, LOL

Maybe with the exceptions of Mayweather. He could go into his late forties, maybe older, without issue.
