ozzie stevens blood of today?

are there any yards still hunting and breeding ozzie's line of dogs with any good results? we have used it with some success linebred and outcrossed to carver/rascal stuff. what crosses are working for others?

I was ask bout da the ozzie blood my self would like knw bout da virgil dogs mostly

 

the better crosses are bolio, redboy, maverick, hank, and jeep(I know, I know) bred dogs. I have had it bred tight from the man himself, and I prefer the homer blood crossed with redboy or jeep redboy, but I have seen some crossed to maverick that was real good too.

 

ozzie/jeep/rascal is a nice cross.

 

thanks for everyones response. i agree the homer rascal ,homer stompanato, homer mccools are make some all around hunters. even line breedings those crosses the finish traits reigns through if culled right! i will say with out the crosses they are prone to heath issues that make long term breedings hard.

We've had great success crossing O. Steven's dogs with our Panther/Jocko bloodline.

yes the guys that lasted owned marcellus,maxwell,& cougar have straws chilled off them for the future.crossed with rascal ,oso negro,stompanato, boling's loner has shown alot of promise so far.

 

a judge how did your dogs off cougar turn out. I realy like the jerry jones dog ozzie had.

 

Mine was fairly game, had defense and style for days, but not much offense. I liked her, and miss her to this day.
