Any body have any tip on use

Is it safe for young pups 5-6 months
Do you use the whole tag or cut the tag
And is it safe for pregnant bitchs

Seeing as I have dogs of various age's size's

I tried cow tags a couple different times and they seemed to work. My problem was I once had one break off and the dog ate it. He was sick for a day or two and it took a 1/2 gallon of mineral oil up the chute to get it out. From that point it was not worth it for me.

Last year was pretty bad in our area. I bought a bottle of TermidorSC (acutally the Taurus brand which is few dollars cheaper) and I use 3ml on each dog and then mix some in the bug spray. I mist the dogs on occasion and I also hit the ground and boxes.

Others on my road fought mosquitoes and fleas and ticks terribly but I seemed to have a pretty good year.

I will go that route again this year. And as soon as I type this it is destined for failure. LOL

Fly predators & fly bags have always worked well enough.... combine it with a few sprays of ultrashield (black bottle from tractor supply) & your golden....

Ultrashield is really diluted Permethrin. I buy a $20 bottle of Permethrin 10% and can make about 80 bottles of Ultrashield. I double the amount of permethrin and still get 30-40 bottles for the same price.

It has been a while. I will do the math again but there is like less than 1% Permethrin in Ultrashield.

I also add a little mineral oil to it as well so it sticks and the rain and the wallowing in the wet grass does not kill the performance.

I've always had good success with just buying 10% permethrin and diluting it in a pump sprayer. I spray down everything. Houses, ground, bedding, the dog itself etc.
If you want to go a step further, I also spray Home Defense around the parameter of my yard, parameter of the kennels and the parameter of the dog houses twice a year. I rarely have to deal with pests.

Frontline spray or Flee it’s generic is great stuff and stays with them a long time. That’s all I use on my chickens and I never have any parasites.

  9. I do not recommend it. Better go to the vet, and he will see what he recommends. Some chemical solutions and sprays will remove parasites. Or you can even read on pestcontrolhacks.com. There are some articles with certain sprays for parasites. I bought Nitenpyram for my bitch; she was pregnant. It worked efficiently, just in few days. It was a kind of torture for her. She was scratching all the time. Gosh, I feel so sorry sometimes for them. It's essential to take care of their health.
