lol. I was in Don's chat one day when indian sonny came by and Don talked to him real nice. Afterward i was like Don, isn't that the guy stole pit general from you? Why would you talk with someone who stole your dog? He said , well he's only a man and I stole a dog or two in my day... Funny stuff. Any way yes the general dog definitely shows in the midnight dog. I like the look of midnight better based only on pics.

 

Ace1 im not saying it isn't possible. but tell me what do you base the assertion that PG is behind midnight? and what midnight dogs have you seen PERSONALLY to back this claim up? and i mean in person not photos.

the midnight dogs show many traits of pit general an the other genes in them ,in relation to general cat like agilty and long tails, black color, bulldog undershot heads with aggressive front end style,, ace 1 keep seekin

 

Actually although general ended up on the chief's yard in the end it wasn't the chief who stole him it was another man that was there with them that same night.

Don was always open to talk to anyone including his old acquaintances some of which were fierce competitors back in the day and Don always treated everyone with respect, even the ones who did nothing but insult the man with every post. People would come in under their real named and under fake names,, Don used to call them mad hatters yet he was always open to discuss any topic with anyone.

Don according to most of you may not have had that much influence in the breed but you can't deny he has had the most influence on this board lol.

How is that Pit General it says 3/9/94. On the tape but general was around in the 70s Limey has a tape of MC talking about who stole general and the silver fox died in the late 70s? And video didn't come out until the 80s?

 

Robbie obviusly it didend ocured to you that Video tapes can be made out of old 8mm camara footage!!!!!... what the tape shows is that the film was put on tape in 94!!!!!!.......

Mayfield, love him or hate him. No one can deny what he did do in the dog game.Mayfield went into the best and only the best beat Mayfield.I think the record does show that.The stealing of dogs,rubbing dogs,switching peds,and many other things they all did.I never really had any dealing with Mayfield.We talked on the phone about conditioning and feeding.The only dealing I had with him is I bought some magazines and a book from him,that I never received.But he helped me with the conditioning and feeding so I can't complain.Danny Burton said it best when he gave an interview with the Times in 88 or 89.Danny said if Don came back now he would show everyone why he was one of the best.
