I adopted a pit from a shelter. They told me walks great on a leash. So not true. He's the perfect dog inside. When I take him out it's all different. He has drug me to the ground twice and both times I've had to go to the emergency room. I think Taking him back to shelter would be bad. I love him but he's just way to much dog. I'm disabled. What do I do

Got to be honest and no disrespect you shouldn’t of taken on such breed an in all honesty the shelter shouldn’t of allowed you. I would find him a suitable home sounds like an accident waiting to happen

Take the dog back to the shelter. This breed needs a lot of exercise and they can be dog aggressive.
