You're right Slim12. I work for Columbia County Georgia. The biggest snobs and asshole people in the county. We have all the resources, satellite and GPS on our truck and cars and we still rely on people calling us and reporting other people in heavy wooded areas.

That sucks but there are so many better places to live in this country. I know you've talked about the dislike of where you live so hopefully this puts you over the edge. There's plenty of places in the US that have better laws, crazy better weather, better food, similar COL, and an abundance of medical field jobs that pay well.
Best of luck from a fellow Northeaster and now a Southwesterner.

That's ridiculous. Hope yall can beat it, man. I don't even see how the world has gotten this messed up. Can't have outdoor dogs now?? Stupid af. Somebody mentioned how could they do this with farm dogs ect. If it passes, which I hope it doesn't, I'm pretty sure they would add in exceptions for livestock guardian dogs and what not.

I'm just hoping it don't pass. I'm going to have a building put up this spring/summer anyways though to jump ahead of this now rather than after the fact like I had to do with the tethering law when it went into effect. It's not easy for me to come up with thousands of dollars on the spot so I've been saving and planning on this building since last year. They didn't catch me off guard on this like they did that tethering law.

The sportmans alliance is involved now and it's a pretty large group here so hopefully we can get this crap shut down fast and get the asshole that drafted it voted out.

The people responsible for these laws often have no idea of reality. They impose the civilization they advocate for the civilians, kindly or maliciously.Apply for a kennel license, build insulated kennels or a good shed to keep your dogs.

You doing the right thing @AGK .. Join up with any other groups who could also be affected by that law and go straight after the bastards attempting to get it passed, hopefully they not so motivated or brave once they get exposed and spotlight put on them, politicians usually so corrupt and 2 faced, they smile and bend over backwards for vegan/LGBT/animal rights lobbyists on the promise of votes, but whine like little kids when other groups threaten to vote against them.. 'TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER!'

  9. right.
"theres more of us then them"
is what ide say..but sadly, in this country, its not the case.
but in America it is the theres just so many aspects with working dogs,so this rubbish will efect a lot more people that are to do with working dogs...
its never been like that over here..Ireland stick together and they doing ok.
my point is,this is the main time for you all to stick together.
hunting alience, sporting, shooting any of it..stick together like Ireland did when the hunting with dogs act was passed.
im not sure on the laws in Ireland at the present time, but the Irish people dont stand for it....the U.K.(English Welsh and Scotish people) are the most laid back in that respect and seem to have the attitude like "theyll do what they want anyways.if they gonna ban it they will...arrr fuck em!well just do as we want!"

and im guilty of this mentality my self.
    hold my hands right up.

If you dont understand that, quite simply,we in the U.K. just no deep down in are harts no one will fight it out.
sorry for babaling on if you dont sure you @ Old Guy no what i mean.

Fight it..fight it proper..get the aliences or whatever and some good spokesmen on your side.

You can do it!...I no you can.

    All the best.

I'm sure it'll rear its ugly head again at some point. These animal lover people don't quit. They'll wait a year or 2 and get it back going again I'm sure.

It will be a hard pass for them as PA is a huge hunting with dogs state. You can't throw a stick in this state during hunting season without having a lab, spaniel, beagle or pointer bringing it back to you.

Lol. These dogs have to reside outside to be acclimated to the cold otherwise they are useless in hunting in our winters, which is when hunting seasons are here.

The hunters are the largest defenders of the dog laws here. Thankfully they can pull together in numbers a hell of a lot better than we do.
