The People behind this orginization are all First Class. Any of you would benefit greatly from just getting to meet & Fellowship with any of them at a given time, Much less to have them all show up at the same Event! Their knowledge and Value to this breed is worth all the "conformation points" in the World!

I live in Washington State and I would love to meet Mr.Boudreaux & Mr.Crenshaw . I would be honored . It would be cool if he could do a tour. It sounds goofy, but I dont imagine I will ever travel that far south. Anyway all I have to say is Luckyyy.

I did a search just on Crenshaw and it brought up a daughters website that has dog storys on it,I read Hurt story & Screamer, it said she was going to do a story about Honeybunch next.

Wish I could make it :( But my work schedule won't allow for me to up and leave again for another show. Good luck to all who do go! It certainly looks like a first-class event, "fun" show or not.

Hey, USDO, are you guys also hosting a benefit show in Bushnell, FL early next year? There was talk of that at the show last week. If so, I can for sure make that one :)

yes GSD that is correct. we had hoped to have the date set before this show to be able to hand out flyers but the fairgrounds is booked all of march for the fair, so we will meet soon after this show and firm those plans up. info on that will follow soon after.

this show is just the first in a series of USDO Point Shows / Pulls and "benefit events". our feeling is that since we are not a for profit corporation putting on the shows unlike almost everyone else we are able to use the money to help defend the dogs and their owners more effectively, at least that's our hope.

for now floyd needs a lot of our support to keep the lawsuit going. some people think the whole thing is over since they were found not guilty. others think "contingency" - as though there is no out of pocket cost associated with that. that is not correct. not to mention floyd is 76 years old and on social security and he helped supplement his very limited income by selling some show dogs occasionally. they completely took that away from him and bragged about "putting him out of business". but no matter how much they tried to pressure floyd and guy to take a deal and drug it on and out they both stuck to their guns and were totally exonerated! this was a much needed win for the dogs after many recent years' events not going so swell. It did however leave them pretty much penniless from defending themselves and losing their dogs too. laura maloney meanwhile got a (probably 6 figure) promotion.

if folks really want to consider themselves in any sort of fraternity involving bulldogs it has got to include floyd boudreaux. floyd is a proud gentleman and would never ask for this sort of stuff himself but the facts are the facts and this is me speaking from my opinion and perspective and what I know.

I just hope anyone that would have come out for some company to make money off them would consider showing the boudreauxs some support for being stand up dogmen. and of course floyd probably bred some dog or another behind at least 75% of the dogs owned by people reading this.

good luck to everyone and don't forget raffle tickets are still available if you can't make the show!

    :D

Two thousand miles round trip is too much for me before Christmas but I do have a couple questions. What is the entry fee? I saw the fun classes are $5 but I didn't see the conf/wp fees. And since you accept ADBA, AADR, AKC, UKC, and CKC; whose standard do you use for conformation? I didn't see one listed on the site.

Great job on getting more events for us to participate in!!!!!!!!! Please come up north :D!

hi jrs, thanks for your support!

for this show we will be using a slightly modified adba type standard but did not want to post it because we have a committee working out the details of our own standard. the judges this weekend will be folks who have judged countless adba and aadr shows as well as longtime, well-respected dogmen. if you keep an eye on the website over the next couple/few weeks you'll see a lot of improvement and additions, as well as results and reviews of this show and news about our next events.

entry fees will be $15/class for non-members or $12 for members ($3 discount on all regular entries). since our club membership is only $10 per person or $15 for a whole family, this is a great deal, and renewals are only $5/10. We hope this keeps things affordable for everyone as we too have noticed the rising cost of fees at many other events.

Thanks for the reply! What you're doing is great especially with the current state of the economy. People want to show and can't afford it, its good to see an organization out for the dogs not the money.

Despite a sudden, terrible winter ice storm closing the Interstate Friday night and Saturday morning we were very pleased with the turnout today and want to thank everyone who braved the bad weather and came out to help make the show such a success!

The forecast calls for Sunday to be 58° and sunny and anyone within driving distance can still come out and join Floyd Boudreaux and the USDO at our Inaugural Show tomorrow.

Raffle tickets are still available at the show or online until tomorrow at 1pm as well.

Everyone who ordered tickets today should have gotten their stub numbers by email an hour or two ago.

    Thanks again for everyone's support!

I've started getting some of the pictures up on the site.

at this point there is only a few, but it does include one of floyd holding the pup and him picking the actual winning raffle ticket in front of a crowd of people.

we thank all the decent, real people that bought tickets and continue to support us in trying to do honest things for the dogs and their owners, including the Boudreauxs.

if there's anyone with pictures from the show they wouldn't mind sharing the email address is info@usdogs.net
