    R.i.p. "big Tom" Ratliff

    :confused: MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO MY BEST FRIEND-"LITTLE TOM" RATLIFF-FOR THE LOSS' OF HIS FATHER "BIG TOM" RATLIFF WHO WAS ALSO MY SECOND DAD,AND HIS MOTHER,JUDY RATLIFF WHO PASSED JUST 8 DAYS BEFORE.I WILL MISS HIM DEEPLY.HE WAS ALWAYS THERE TO LEND HIS ADVICE AND HELP TO ME AND NEVER STEERED ME WRONG,AND JUDY ALWAYS GREETED ME WITH A SMILE.I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM HIM SINCE MEETING HIM IN THE EARLY 90'S.HIS KNOWLEDGE AND KINDNESS WAS ENDLESS.HE WAS ONE OF THE MOST STRAIGHT FORWARD MEN I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF CALLING A "TRUE FRIEND".I AM AT A LOSS FOR WORDS FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE-BUT I KNOW BIG TOM KNOWS MY THOUGHTS @ SORROW.HE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY THOUGHTS TILL THE DAY I DIE AND SEE HIM AGAIN.HIM AND JUDY ARE BOTH IN A BETTER PLACE WHERE PAIN @ SICKNESS WILL NEVER BOTHER THEM AGAIN.MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE RATLIFFS.

    :eek:damn, sorry to hear we lost another good one. 2008 has been a horrible year for us dog people (in more ways than one). Let us hope that 2009 brings better days.

    RIP Mr. and Mrs. Ratliff:(

    R.I.P tom spent many a mile on the road with him . Also many a good time when he lived in Delaware and N.C me him and Greasy corner kid At fat bills pig pickings what fun times . so sad to hear of it

    No old timer i have been out of the dogs since 1999 . I didn't know tom passed . The last time i saw him was when Ch butkus won # 4 talked to him a few times after that . I think so many of the guys I knew are either out of the dogs or have passed away . One of the only guys I knew that passed was yankee greg but i spoke to him many time after we both got out of the dogs . Sad very very sad

    man he was humble great guy met him at nationals show great guy and very fun guy when it came to the dogs rip
