Taken from the 1955 Pit dog report. Never saw this until the other day. Not sure whether the picture is really of that dog or just used for the article. If anyone knows I would be grateful to learn more about the dog and picture.

The picture looks more like a drawing or painting than an actual photograph.

Nice little article. Stinkrock, when I zoom in I could read it just fine. In a nut shell it says England still has dogs that some call staffordshires but really they are the same dogs we call APBT's. Bred still for purpose. The main storyline is about a guy and one of these dogs. I suppose the picture is symbolic of the story the article is telling.
