RIP Sin

Discussion in 'R.I.P.' started by PitBull_30, May 17, 2006.

  1. I mentioned suing him and it would be on good grounds. He agreed to board the dog for his friend and dropped of the dog at the HS. WHY? The first dog in should of had priority (Sin). Stupid mistakes happen all the time. The guy at McDonald's that forgets to put up a wet floor sign and someone breaks their leg, good example. I had this happen to me once. I was the guy that was boarding a female head strong Pit Bull X Staff. It was suposed to be for only one month. Three months later, she tries to attack my wife. I called the owner and said "you have 30 days to find a place for her or she is going to the pound. She is not my dog, she doesn't know me, she is trained to attack and she is out of control and I can not stop her." This was all true. She had no reason to listen to me, she was a 7 year old dog with her mind set. But I still gave her 30 day, let's just say she became friendly with her muzzle. I did not want to but I said 30 days in a muzzle until your father figures out what to do is better than death. Two week later he showed up and apologized. I received my dog for the complications I had. He was very remorseful. I still see that dog today when she is with him. She is a different dog.

In short, you can not agree to something and not follow through with it, without discussing it with the dog's owner. As cruel as ity may sound, it would have been best to just lock the dog in the bathroom for 24 hours with a good steak and kibble supper and some toys, and maybe a radio. This is just my take on the way it should have been handled.

I don't think locking him in a bathroom overnight would be cruel. He was locked in a crate every night. Ryan had made it clear that he was coming back for him and Deb, the lady he talked to, said nothing. My anger is directed at PETA, HS, and Debrah S... dang it. I can't post her full name. Now I have lots of cute pics of Sin and my nieces to show those trying to ban Pits in Detroit. I also have a story of a dog that knew nothing but abuse but showed nothing but love to all who would take it. I'm tempted to go down there and tell Debrah to explain to my nieces (4 and 6) why she let their best friend die. I think it would be to hard on them. After I told them they literally cried for hours.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, but what in the world was Ryan thinking???? Taking a dog to the pound?? What - did he think he could use it as some kind of boarding facility or something??? They have things for that already - they're called BOARDING KENNELS. I'm sure they have some in your area. He should have NEVER taken that dog to the pound!!

I'm sorry should I come off a little pissy but what appeared to be a sweet, loving dog was KILLED due to the idiocy of it's human caretaker (Ryan). If he couldn't have have tended Sin like he said he would he could have let a friend sit him or boarded him at a boarding kennel or at the vet's or even put him out on a chain in his back frigging yard for the night. But he takes him to the pound??? That has to be stupidity at it's finest.

I'm sorry, but I'd be re-thinking my friendship w/ this guy.

May Sin RIP & may his murder weigh heavily on his Ryan's soul. :(

Something smells funny withthis scenario.....Why would you leave a beloved pet with someone like that??

Why wpuld he not just tie up or crate the dog overnight ??

Something is odd with the story. I would whip my "friends" rear and ship him off to be euthanized.

That is why I hate peta and Hs. They all are obsessed with making the APBT exstinct.
