RIP Sterlin Silver McCoy

06/05/11 - As the tail end of the weekwas at hand, Sterling seemed to be ok in spitit, but was not eating,vomiting, and no longer able to hold anything down.Water is prettymuch all we could get in him.




Yesterday after work, I had to comehome, and take my Best Friend for his last ride, which was to theAmimal Hospitol. He road out like a true soldier, strong until theend, and it was one of the hardest things I have had to do in quitesome time. Walking my best friend, that I would cary back home. Idid take Sterlin boy to the most peacefulplace I know lay rest, There is a hillside at my Dad's house That I will pass by often toremember the dog that changed my life. Bulldog Hill.




Sterlin my boy, you are with me alwaysand I saw you tweanklin in the sky before the storm my boy. The loveyou have tought me is never ending my boy. It rains yet again todayand it has to be a new day. You are with me always, and you live onthrough your son, and memory.

sorry to hear of your good dogs passing sounds like he was one of the greatest
bro it sucks when they go but we can cherish the great memories that they will live forever in.

 

Sorry for your loss mccoy. I had several mutts as a kid and got my first real dog around 24. Him and my kids grew up together. After 13 good years together it sucked to have to put him in the ground.

It was a rough day. Today I was in a bit better spirit. As the storm passed along, the sun began to shin upon us, My Wife, 2 younger boys and I went and gathered some beautiful river rocks and mounded them above him. I am going to ingrave his food bowl and put it on there for him soon. It is stainless steel and should last for a while.
Thank you all for your reaching out to me in this tough time. We all go through it and it hurts like hell, no doubt about it.

 

I know how it is man, lost many dogs in my life but when i lost the bitch that has proven her self the best over a tumor, the tears rolled down my face.
