RIP Tank

Lost my big ol' Hemphill/Wilder x Mayfield/Clouse boy this week to spleen cancer. He was 13. Hit him hard and fast. I was in hospital with my daughter when I got the call something was wrong. My ex took him in and they suggested a euth so we signed my daughter out on a pass and we took the kids so we could all say goodbye. Brutal day. Sure going to miss that big dummy.

 

So sorry for you and your families loss. A shame their lives are so short!

 

Ugh. I know. I have his sister, a bellymate as well and I know her time is coming, too. I always loose them in chunks it seems.

Thanx guys. We're all really hurtin' over this one. It's going to be weird when we get to leave the hospital and go home and he's not there. I don't think it's really going to hit me until then.

Oh Zoe, I am so sorry to read this. I remember Tank from years ago on other forums and your stories about him always made me smile. He was quite a dog. I am very sorry you lost him.
