aite a friend of mine being taking care my pit for me for a while indoor, then he moved her to the garage. The one day he saw scalp on her and he peeled it off and it became a bald spot. So he called me and about four days when I finally came to see her she have like quite a few bald spots ranging from her neck to her back. my question is, is it a diease? is it contagious? curable?

any answer, comment, advise would be gladly appreciated

Hard to accurately formulate a diagnosis via the web, but if you are concerned, (sounds that way), please bring your dog to your vet. It could be any number of things from parasites to infections. Get a medical opinion and follow his/her advice.

    Good luck!

I agree with Suki. And if it is ringworm (fungal infection) or scabies (sarcoptic mange) then "YES!" it is highly contagious to people!

  4. take her to the vet ASAP and get a skin scrape done this way you will know what you are dealing with.

Like everybody is saying, take her to the vet.
I dont know why you gave her to your friend to look after her, but if she still there, I would take her back. I personally dont trust anybody with my dogs. Nice people with good intentions can still mess up your dog.
