Some type of worm

Discussion in 'Health & Nutrition' started by WigSplitter, Jun 8, 2012.

  1. I noticed what looks to be some type of worm anchored to the insides of my water buckets when I change the water ( everyday) about 1cm brownish with segments, when I empty the water they seem to dry up pretty quick,I'm wondering if they're coming from birds, anyone experience this or have an idea what they are and come from?

    Sounds like mosquito larvae

  3. Yea that was my 1st thought, and I haven't seen any swimming in their water ,they get fresh water daily and I thought it takes a few days for Mosquitos to hatch from egg to larvae to adult...and these don't look like mosquito larvae I'm used to seeing
