sometimes it just dosen't matter

I got a call on Monday, This family had purchased a dog and he just dosen't fit the decor anymore. They bought a Goldendoodle, paid over $1000 for the dog. He is now 8 months old. They put alot of time in him, almost to much time. They kind of ruined him in obedience, he submissive pees, he is also very very thin. These people live in a very nice neighborhood, very educated. The price they paid for the dog did not convince them that he was worthy of their home. His only fault, that I can see is, when you tell him to sit, he tries to rake your face with his paw. He is a baby, they do that. These people did not want to hear anything I offered them other than," I will take your dog". They wanted him gone that day! right now! The point I am making is, it dosen't matter if someone pays a million for a dog or $20 for a dog, if they are a good owner then their a good owner. The hope would be that if they paid alot they would take better care, not always true.

 

So they traded him out for a Goldendoodle? That is so sad. Some people see dogs simply as something expendable and not the living, breathing, feeling creatures that they are. Disgusting.

 

No they did not want the goldendoodle anymore that they paid all that money for, he was just to big for their perfect house. I was in the house, it looks like no-one lives there, everything is perfect and in its place, except the dog

 

No, they paid 1000 for a mutt and couldn't deal with what a dog does so they want it gone. This is what bothers me. Whether I paid 3000 or nothing for a dog, I care for them the same way. Money isn't the issue. Their lack of concern about throwing away an animal is. If the societys would go after these people, who show no respect and no commitment for their pets and look upon them as a throw away item cause it doesn't act the way they like or do what they want, the owners like us who love and care for their dogs could be left alone. I have never in my life abandoned a dog. If I own it, I own it. Troubles and behavior problems are not an issue for me because I took the time to learn how to raise a dog and how to work on any problems they may have. The people like those in the above post are the scum of the earth in my eyes.

 

Oh okay, the first time I read throughj I thought they had gotten a different dog, then got a Goldendoodle and wanted to get rid of the first dog. I reread it, now I follow.

I know of a worse Doodle, i cant find a picture, but i saw an ad for a Saint BERDOODLE!!!!
You guessed it, a Poodle and a Saint Bernard!!! This crossing poodles w/crap is getting ridiculous, esp the IDIOTS that pay $1500 for a MUTT.
They say that they cross the poodle in for "better manners and no shedding". BS every single one of those mutts that come in th e clinic shed ALL over me, and are nippy little assholes....

the pics that jbkm posted is exactly what he looks like, he is real tall, the longest legs I have ever ever seen on a dog. he is probably 24" at the shoulder and weighs only 63 lbs. very gangly. but, he is a "designer dog" so don't make fun.

one breeder says his farm is to preserve the history of the labradoodle and continue it with the highest regard for conformation. roflmfao history lol. conformation for a mutt lmao what standard do you set for a mutt lol.

 

I know an EVEN WORSE one... I saw doodleman pinschers...yep a dobie poodle mix. or how about an english boodle... poodle x english bulldog. I couldnt resist i emailed the breeders and let me tell you I have never been called some many "bad names" in each sentence in my life. Had to read the email 3 times before i could understand it because the spelling and gramarr was so damn bad. just goes to show the type of idiots breeding these pieces of crap. and the bs lines they spit are awful, no shed, smart, calm, intelligent, all the "best traits... blah blah blah. with amutt its a crap shoot you can get all the best but just as easily get all the worst. and also let me tell you grooming dogs we get ALOT of these crappy mutts and they DO shed, they ARE hyper, and they are FAR from smart.....

 

here is a list of poo mixes that i could find im sure there are more. I see shepradoodles, goldendoodles, labadoodles, weimerdoodles,jackapoos, yorkiepoos, cockapoos, shihpoos, lhasapoos, maltipoos, chipoos, beaglepoos, puggle, basug, chug, ...It's not just poodles everyone wants to mix pugs with everything too advertised in our local paper weekly. The insanity needs to stop. you can go to our local pound and find mutts that look just like these every single day. most probably ARE the grown up results of these breedings i see advertised weekly and then they are destroyed because they are large hairy mutts and no one wants them.
