Yeah she had a really bad case of flea bite dermatits that went untreated for awhile and a secondary infection from the itching set in so I was dealing with two issues.. when I took her on as my own it took a few months but I got it under control and cleaned it up. So no worries a little TLC goes a long way it won't be too long before you get it cleared up and she will be just like new!

You can see here she was really red all over

This is almost 2 years later she honestly doesn't look like the same dog lol but she is all better now and I am glad I was able to help her out.

Lmao Sadie, now that last photo was funny, thanks for the info and the laugh.

Im sure I will get my old bitch all healed up in time, my biggest concern is that her son my 2 year old prospect is still with the dumb fuck who did this.

Hehehe I know I should be locked up for doing that to her pink nail polish and glasses poor girl as if she didn't already go through enough lucky she loves me enough to let me do that and forgive me for it lol...

Anyway yeah that is a big concern I hope you can get her son back that is no way for a dog to live or be treated and if the mom was in those conditions you can bet her son is living in the same conditions. You might have to just show up and take the dog back not good at all. Best of luck to you NGK it will work out keep us updated ...

With the condition of her rear in the photo - She was in a crate and it was too small hence the callaused skin on tail and rear from her wagging her rear when she got excited. Someone may have told the guy to crate her in a small crate to to keep her inactive so she wouldnt eat as much but that is horribly the opposite for a hyper GD. Furthermore she had little to no bedding in her crate and the sores on her wrists were from her laying with her paws under her on a hard surface or with her wrists against the opening where the gate or door is. Seen way too many in this condition over the years. If people would learn to use large enough crates and proper bedding when crates are necessary, those sores and callauses wouldnt happen. I know in an emergency a small crate may work BUT NOT TO LIVE IN!!!! I'm sorry for your hound and I know the marks will fade and heal with good living quarters and feeding well. YIS

Forgot to mention the lost teeth are from trying to chew out of a crate if the teeth were in the front.

An iodine based shampoo as a microantibiotic for the skin. Nu-Stock to help regrow the hair and dry out the area. And if she is scratching or biting at it use hydracortizone cream. Make sure it is the cream and not the ointment. The cream will absorb into the skin and will stop the itching but will also aid in keeping the skin moisterized.

Its a Immune deficiency , that causes the demodex mites to go out of control and cause those secondary problems and other problems to arise due to a weak immune system.
