Southeastern APBTC ADBA Show-Oct 31, 2009

can anyone send me a copy of the show flyer ? I need it to cross the border.....well i dont NEED it but it makes it easier....im heading out this coming monday....

 

Aah, really? I live in the middle of the state, we honestly have no dog sport stuff around here... the occasional agility, but only one AKC conformation match a year, no UKC since I last checked and definitely no ADBA shows. Not even Schutzhund. ): We're a lame city.

 

SC club puts on a show (or 2 every year) and in NC, a few hours from the middle of SC, there have been about 8 different shows this year!!!!! ADBA and AADR.

 

Blau, SC made a law against weight pulling, so, most (if not all) SC clubs have their shows in NC.

 

... really? Why would they ban weight pulling? As you can see I don't know much on the subject, heh, but I... don't see why it should be against the law. :eek:
Well, that's not good for me, I really don't like driving more than 2 hours unless I'm going to Georgia, bah. Guess I won't be owning a dog any time soon until I move.

Edit; A law against the actual sport of weight pulling, or even conditioning your dog for the sport?

 

I don't know the exactly reasons, but I have a feeling, it was just politics, no good reason, just doing it to probably stop APBT shows.

I am not sure if you are even allowed to let your dog pull stuff around your yard. I'll try to find out for you.

 

Im heading out in the morn for my cross country trek to bulldog haven lol. Everyone drive safe..... umm when registration opens and im still sleeping in my Mazda can someone come kick my door please LOL.......

Gettin ready to head out anyone know what the weather is in NC???

 

Currently it is cloudy but no rain, and about 60 degrees.

All and all good day. My lil girl had a blast too. Handing out the raffle prizes and competin in jr handler with a friends pup.

I took some videos of the weight pulls and a ton of pictures. I'd like to get the names and possibly peds of the dogs in the photos if anyone is good with that sort of stuff I'll post a thread with all of the good pictures I got soon, and I'm going to upload the weight pull to youtube.

 

Thanks to the Southeastern Club for putting on a great event, we bulldoggers didn't let a little bit of rain spoil our fun!!!!!

Sorry I have no pictures to post but the costume contest was great and one lil Junior handler brought home a trophy while showing our lil Fallon in the Jr. class!!!! Fallon's first time in the ring and very exciting!

Our Diva and Clancy both competed in the very tough Champion Class and got skunked both shows.

Sunny (6 - 9 month female class) - took a 2nd and a 3rd.
