for one i'm not a jackass and theres nothing wrong with wanting well known proven bloodlines basically I want my dogs for my purposes like hunting and weight pulling occasionally i'll do some breedings to get the dogs I want and i've been around the dogs my whole life and i've carefully looked aT EACH BLOODLINE and decided on the ones i want and it'll be few years to find the dogs i want and when i get them i'll show them weightpull, and then prove them or buy proven dogs

Oh yes you are, lol. You don't have a clue about anything you hit on in your earlier post in this thread. Listing names of long dead dogs or breeders doesn't qualify you for anything.

When I started my yard I drove around the u.s. and bought up ten nice bred females around 2 to 4 years old and ran them thru the ringer and ended up with 3 of them that made the cut. Used them 3 as my brood stock and bred my best one to the best stud I could find and had a litter of 4. Only 2 females made the cut out of that litter.. My best one never made it to the brood pen but the other one did just this year after some tough comp and having to get a leg amputated. The other 2 bitches out of my original ten I had litters with 2 years ago a litter of 5 and a litter of 9 and out of them 14 pups 6 made the cut. So I have 6 prospects now that are ready for comp and my original 3 brood bitches and 1 brood bitch out of my first litter that I got 2 male pups out of that are 6 months old now. Just going to keep interbreeding my best to best til I'm ready for an outcross. We'll see how it goes

Dam right that shovel is the key tool..... As far as the comment about Dogmen being assholes and not helping out... It's not mean spirited really... This lifestyle is based on competition and nobody is gonna just jump out there and give you the type of info you want. If you was to start up a NASCAR team I'd imagine it be the same way. The help comes in when you just read and form your own opinions cause at the end of the day if you gonna start a yard you better have your own foresight and direction you wanna take it. We couldn't begin to tell you what u should start with or cross into it cuz ain't us starting a yard. The fact your unsure of what to start with to me says it ain't time to start. And you were into dogs but now you seem clueless I went thru 5 years of not havin my dogs but that don't mean I lost track of what was good and dam sure ain't forget what I liked
