id vote no either way....the side effects on the liver n kidneys after a long hunt aint too good after using certain roids.id prefer to know a dog can race natural without the aid of unnatural rocketfuel up its arse.

no. i know they are a tool but pre 76 there were people who just went into others who didnt use them. just be honest if ur gonna use them but i'd rather see to dogs without them JMO. my dogs health would come b4 anything else

  5. well i think that a lil preformance enhancer steroids can do good things to an athlete i would have to say not all but there are some good side to steroid use in regulated small doses :D

  6. BUT I DNT USE STERIODS BECAUSE I THINK OF WHAT I MIGHT DO TO THE REPRODUCTIVENESS OF MY ANIMALS AND NATURAL IS THE ONLY WAY TO ME USING STEROIDS IS CHEATING IN MOST SPORT'S BUT SOME STEROIDS HELP GAIN WEIGHT FIGHT DISEASES ECT. ECT. SO THAT'S WHY I CAN COME IN HAND SOME TIMES NEXT THING YOU KNO THE DOGS HAVE TO PEE IN THE CUP LMAO :dogdrink:

There are to many problems to worry about with steroids. Yes they can make your animal perform better, but in my opinion, you can do way more damage to your dog for such small gains. I know a few really good performers that are useless now because they can't reproduce. Chronic steroid use can do many bad things to a dog, and the whole purpose of performing, is to essentially reproduce equal or better dogs. No reproduction= no point in performing. Not worth the risk in my book and it still won't guaranty you a win..... JMO

Agree with PurePit too... but my two cents:
My stand on them is just plain 'no'.
I'd rather run my dog 100% natural, with nothing but my work and his heart in him. If the dog needs juice to preform admirably it doesn't need to be running.

    That is just me personally..

I don't know enough about Steroids to answer your questions, but I would not use them with a dog.

you dont bring one to the lane natural, just aint happening and its not even questioned. If you dont know what youre doing of course you can kill your dog with drugs, even giving to much Dex will have your dog messed up enough to get him killed.

if a dog win big shows natural its sure something to brag about and is, doesnt happen to often

not for rookies but in a place where rookies arent playing thats what goes on

American dogman, you have some stronge opinions on the subject, do you have any experience with these drugs youre so against? What problems occured?
