Two Atlanta brothers are in custody at the Fulton County jail charged with the torture death of a five-month old puppy and trashing a local apartment complex.

Seventeen-year old Joshua Molder and 18-year old Justin Molder are being held without bond.

The Molder brothers stand accused of covering a puppy with paint, hog tying it, trying to set it on fire and when that didn't work, baking the puppy to death in an oven.

Inez Marshal is president of the community association at the Englewood Manor Apartments in southeast Atlanta where Joshua and Justin Molder lived.

She was called to the rec center the night the brothers were arrested for breaking into the newly remodeled building and trashing it.

“They just totally demolished the community center,” said Marshal.

She said she’ll never forget finding the puppy the boys stand accused of torturing and killing.

“He was still in the oven; he was tied,” said Marshal.

“All four feet were tied together, his mouth was duct taped and he was dipped in beige paint,” she added.

"Not only did they not have an explanation, apparently they went out and bragged about this to other young people in the community, brought them back and showed them their work," said District Attorney Paul Howard.

The Moulder brothers are charged with burglary, criminal damage to property and aggravated cruelty to animals.

I second that! I'm a firm believer in that type of punishment for all animal abuse cases. Hog tie their asses and let em roast... but we musn't forget to video tape it!

That is awful-how could anyone do that to a puppy- only a sick as$hole would do that- I hope they rott away in jail - or better yet let some one do the same thing to them as they did to that poor little puppy

 

I wrote a letter to our governor Sonny Perdue about this case. It shocked me sick. I still get a knotty stomach just thinking about that poor pup. I asked Gov. Perdue to ensure these boys were charged as the felons they are, with absolutely NO leniency. I also urged him to ensure no leniency is EVER given to these type of sickos who commit aggravated torture crimes like this one in Georgia. Pups baked in ovens, set on fire- IT"S SICK! Since last summer two puppies have been baked in ovens and one set on fire in publicized cases in Georgia. One in ATL, one in Savannah, and one here in Valdosta. Those are only the high profile cases that I know of. It's just terrible what people are capable of. Unbridled evil.

 

ohhh my these boys are bad,they need to punish them to the fullest extent and give them as much jail time as they can as well as counseling and close monitoring,because as we all know folks who do these types of things to animals espically dogs and cats have a much higher propensity for doing harm to humans be it adult or child.so they need to nip this in the bud fast and keep a close watch on this pair long after they are released.

all i have to say is hope they drop the soap when they are in jail and get what they deserve. how can someone do that to a poor animal

 

I want to kill them. stick them in a single casket and mail it to me and I will Put it in the crematory up the road. Put it on slow roast. about 200 for seven hours should do then fire it up to 2,000 degree's and get rid of them and send them to hell where they belong. Little butt thumpers.
