    Thanks to all the truckers and the others in the chain that get food to the table.

    Speaking on diesel and gas prices.....I got sick in mid January.I filled up the morning of at $3 a gallon in NC. I was in the house for a couple three weeks not really going anywhere. My wife drove my truck here and there and when I was released to work in mid Feb it was $3.59 a gallon.

    Yesterday morning I went down our main shopping road (Walmart/Food Lion/fast food joints) and it was $3.59. After buying a case of chicken for the dogs when I came back up the road it was $3.65 at some and $3.69 at others.

    I'm almost afraid to go back today. LOL

    Get use to the new normal. Fule may hit 12$ a gallon by years end. A fella I know who hauling fuel say folks are stealing right out of trucks at red lights. Yall may want to stock up on gold,silver, crypto and ammunition because this shit is getting out of hand.

    Here in rural NC in went from 3.09 less than a month ago to $3.89. It was $3.89 when I went to work the other night and $3.99 on the way home.

    I am almost afraid to leave out this morning. LOL

    Big props to the Truck Drivers. When diesel hits record highs so will milk, bread and eggs.

    I am not oh so political but when on the left the idea is to make money directly off a gallon of gas. When on the right it is about what one can make with a gallon of gas.

    One side drives the price up, which drives the price up on everything else and after each item is taxed the left makes money.

    The right side wants the gas to provide a means to money thru work. The object it to lower the price of gas so more things can be done with that gallon of gas.

    Most every president can be judged on how much it costs at the pump.

    Kinda simple. Maybe too simple.

    I went to work the other night at $3.89. The next morning it was $3.99.

    I filled up this morning at $3.99. Drove five minutes back home to fill up the Jeep and it was $4.09. The girl said it would go up again tonight when they close.

    So here is my problem. They paid $$$ for the gas that was in the tank so it would be $3.99. They did not get a truck in yet went to $4.09.

    So that tells me when the market changes it should come down that fast as well?

    This is back door price gouging.

    Shit man I had a truck driver came in yesterday and I forget what state he was in and was filling his truck up .They shut the motherfucker down and raised the price and made him start over lol.True story.

    On 2nds this week. Stopped about 2:30pm and gas was $3.99 out in the country(always a bit higher in the country). Hit the city it was over $4.10 I almost shit a golden goose. Luckily I drive a reasonably economical car as far as gas consumption. But in 2 years I went from $40 for the work week and fucking off on a day off to $50 for 3/4 of a tank. Far less than thrilled to say the least.

    72$ to fill up my Sonata this morning. I couldn't imaging having to fill a Semi. It's only starting currently. It'll be getting much worse.

    Have to get a 3rd job just to afford going to work. :((

    The avg truck at 150- 200 gallon tanks your looking at 700-1000 twice a week depending on where they are in the country. So in reality you could be spending 10k a month in fule and 80-100k a year. The upside is fule is a tax write off. For us we are making more money than any time in history. Flip side of coin is inflation is a mofo.

    This is why USA wants to become energy independent and right now this is what Russia is and thier prices are low on everything. Biden said yesterday we won't take any more oil from Russia so guess what ? Price will jump even higher now because of supply and demand.
