Our crem Dela crem species has finally started to really come to life.

Hericium erinaceus otherwise know as Lions Mane. Not bad for my first time growing this species. They're so pretty i don't want to harvest them. Lol
Jk I very much plan on eating one of these.







I got mushrooms growing all over the place these days plus some strains I cant show. . Harvesting everyday practically.

 

Dabbling with jerky. I prefer mine made of meat lol.

Do you ever post/read at The Shroomery?

 

I only grow on a very small scale for personal "research" using he Pf Tek method. I know it is not great in terms of work to production output, but I am an old dog, so to speak. Just harvesting some...I think they were Equidorian. Have not partaken in a couple of months but may do a micro dose in the near future.

 

I don't post but I consider it the Mothership, am a member and read until eyes twitch daily. Most all our TEKs and recipes come from there.

 

I'll go a journey every so often. Honestly i don't even like trippin all that much anymore. I got too much to do constantly to be in that state all day. Maybe once a year when I feel I'm having a breakdown mentally or I can't shake depression or anxiety I'll take a gram or so. I just like growing.

I love to take a major trip. However, a little more than a month ago I trained so hard (bodybuilding supersets....doing one weight lifting exercise after another with no rest in between sets) that I developed Rhabdomyolysis and also had a tonic/clonic (Grand Mal) seizure. Apparently I was brought back from the dead twice, LOL. Was incubated in the ICU for 4 days. It is one of my proudest achievements, as I can now say I'm as dead game as a live one can be I plan on being back in the gym ASAP (at the age of 60).

Turns out the seizure was caused by a prescription drug I was taking and also Finistride (for hair loss). I stopped both medications, and there is no evidence that a "trip" will kick off a seizure, but I am still laying low for a while. Apparently, my wife still wants me around and I need to get my son into college, so I am chilling. For a bit

BTW, research is pretty conclusive that a "trip" is quite good for depression.

 

We got stuff growing everyday now. Becoming constant. There's another rack behind me filled. Ones our frosts flushs the other is the 2nd. We throw them out after the 2nd flush. Our incubation area is busting at the seams right now between Agar plates, Liquid cultures and, colonized grain and unicorn bags. We're up to doing 15 five pound blocks of substrate a day. Going to start doing 10 lbers. This week. Half the work with twice the yield.

 

Our Blue Oyster eats the dye right out the Agar. Lol.

Been a busy week.

 

Absolutely stunning Rhizomorphic mycelium growth in a 50qt. tub. I think we have really dialed in on a ratio that seems to make perfect field capacity. The rapid colonization after only 4 days is so dope to watch grow out daily.

This picture does NOT do this growth justice. I'm at an awkward angle to take it and I don't want to contaminate anything so I can't really get down into the tub to get a level shot. It's reaching for the stars though!

Our first fair. We sold out of everything in a few hours. I couldn't believe it since this wasn't a farmers market or anything like that. They had the fake wrestling, fireworks, vendors, games etc. Was a great Saturday. We plan on killing it at the farmers markets. This events organizer also ownes one of the largest Rib festival venues in this city. This one's traffic is 3k and the ribfest is 50k. We were invited to set up at it this year. Today gave us a confidence boost. we've been 1 step forward and 3 steps back this whole time and now it seems to be evening out a bit. Was a great time well spent and the exposure for us was excellent for our future.















Our landlord to the building we use paid for and gave us 50 tickets to dunk the mayor at the dunk tank. That guy got soaked today.

 

Finally, 4 months to bring this sample back to life. Today I opened the tent and there they were in all their beauty.
