Ok... The dog did not attack the child, it jumped in the car (Although I can understand the fear of a strange dog and a baby)... Silvio had adequate time to come from the house and remove the dog from the car... No one was treated for injuried except for Silvio who has a small bite on his ankle... When the dog approached the news guy and the police it was not lunging or even running. My thoughts are if this dog wanted to attack it would have...

    Please discuss.

I'm confused. They show video of the dog behind the fence. Someone was videoing the dog way before the dog got out from behind the fence. Why?

Silvio took the dog out of the car and threw it behind a fence. Then the news came, they cannot seize the opportunity to make this breed look bad.

So, you know know any of these personally? Because it says Silvio pulled the dog out of the car and threw him behind a fence, and that Silvio was bite...You believe Cesar was the one who did all it, or just mistyped?...

I agree the dog didn't look like it was being vicious, but Silvio did get bite...
So, who knows...It sucks anyway, because of course it had to be a "pit bull".

oh, ok. Well, if Cesar was able to get the dog and take him out of the car, I can't see the dog being all that aggressive. And where were the damn owners of this dog?

Sorry I mistyped, I was going from memory. I do not know any of them.

EXACTLY...If this dog would have been chained/kenneled properly it would still be alive and the Media would have no story, whether the story is BS or not

Once again, an irresponsible owner is at fault..

Silvio took the dog from the car....he only sustained one bite to the foot.Sorry, I'm not buying this bullshit. If the dog was going to attack, that guy would of got more than a bite in the foot

Plain & simple: No parent in thier right mind, will take a chance on a stray pitbull , let alone with thier child. Take this case as a prime example, if your APBT is unsecured, the police and John Q public, have every right legally (Right & Wrong not with standing) to str8 jellyroll your dog. As riduculous as this may sound, your APBT could be on the leash and the cur dog loose, and you will likely get the same result. ( Refuse to believe @ your dogs peril.) Would you gamble on a stray pitbull with your child at stake?

It could have been any other dog , media is jut bumping this and putting on the pitbulls back , they look and see them as monsters and judge everyone before they judge themself . Bunch of pu$$yies . That dog did not look HA to me , the video did not show that , and yes it's his owners fault , should have kept the dog chained or fenced.

I agree 100% as I stated in my first post. But once the dog was put back into the yard, shouldn't animal control have been called and present before the news crew makes it out there? And before a police officer comes out and shoots this so called aggressive dog?

OMG!!! That is completely outrageous!!! It's out right murder in my book of a dog that was probably just looking to go for a car ride. What in the hell were those people thinking? The dog was trotting across the street with his tail wagging and it sure didn't look like an aggresive posture to me. Then the idiot cop takes 6 shots (or that's what I was able to count in the video) to "put it down", who in the hell taught that fool to shoot? Also would like to point out that the "stray" dog had a pretty nice collar on it seemed, so what exactly makes them assume it was a stray? Could it be they murdered someone's pet and just want to say it was a stray to avoid bad publicity? I truly believe that the entire world has gone insane!

I also did not see any threatening behavior in the video. Yes, I can understand the fear when the dog jumped in the car BUT if this guy was able to take the dog and put it back behind the fence and ONLY sustain a bite on the foot, this dog, IMO, was not a threat.

  15. While I understand what you are saying......it would sound better if you said ....
Because to me, that says this breed is vicious and connot be trusted....and that is simply not true.;)

  16. I agree....in more ways than one! With ALL of it!

Honestly, how many dogs LOOK HA? There is no way to tell. Not to mention, APBTs give little to no warning before they bite. Its a damn shame the best dog on the planet is being ruined by man, just like everything else. G Damned kooks trying to breed tough guy status symbols should be shot in the face in front of their family. The media will take something like a zit and turn it into a cancerous tumor every time. Who knows what really happened? All we get is the crap they want to tell us, not the truth.

He's just stating the truth FK. With all the BYB's breeding these HA mutts, I would worry more about some strange APBT running up on me and my child than a lab or a retriever. An APBT has more tools ya know? Its sad, but for now, thats just the way it is. :(

  19. Ya, I understand what you and he are both saying...
but I can tell ya now, I wouldnt trust any unknown dog around my child....
regardless of the breed....you dont know that dog period....and to be quite honest...are they educated unough to KNOW that IS INDEED a "pit bull"?
    Thats all I was saying...
no hard feelings to nobody...including Edogz.....;)

I wouldnt trust any dog either, but let me ask you this....If you HAD to be attacked by a dog, which would you prefer? Thats all Im saying.
