    Hi folks,its been a bad summer for ticks this year in the UK,any old remidies to deter them?Thanks in advance.

    Forgot to say i use Frontline and a tick hook to remove them but if gone to ground she gets covered its so time consuming!

    garlick, I use it all summer at least 4x's a week

    Do you mean sprinkle garlic powder into food,garlic capsules or raw bulbs into food?

    I dont know any remedys but make sure when you take them out you twist them out, dont pull or the head will get stuck in the dog.

    use apple cider vinegar 1tsb in their food a day. I like it better than garlic. I feed them garlic once and a while.

    The Preventic tick collars really do work. I have never seen a flea collar work but those tick collars do the job and they aren't expensive either.
