Allow me to chime in, as a casual and unbiased observer. Being from the West Indies, schooled in "Queen's English" but raised largely on American culture, what I am witnessing is a cultural miscommunication of sorts. Without checking his profile or intro I could tell Wally is from the UK and British humour and sarcasm/satire could take some getting used to. Further the British I've found tend to be more liberal in their views on breeding especially as it relates to cross breeding. So to a "purist" American fancier he might come off as wonky, asking for staffs here making dry Brit statements there. It's all in good sport and we need to lighten up and be a little more culturally tolerant. Just my two cents....

Yes, Tom is a peddler, but from all accounts he peddles the good good. My only gripe with him is nobody knows the actual recipe, but if you get one or two from him, and start your own based off what you want, eventually his recipe shouldn't matter.

 

It may sound stupid , but if Tom G. wasnt here i would never have owned an APBT .

 

Thats because he has no secrete recipe..

 

Actually, he does, because nobody knows how a dog is really bred that they get from him.

 

Garner is not breeding for a particular purpose and he knows this breed is versatile, of course hes also selling to pet homes. But at the same time hes keeping the standart of the real APBT.

 

He's peddling but he is turning out good dogs so its kind of a catch twenty two. I always felt that peddlers sold dogs of of untested stock, so by buying back dogs of his that make the grade and then breeding them it kind of separates him from other peddlers
