Man was it hot there today !!
Lot of nice dogs, some big ones pulling nice weight.
I never knew the ADBA pitbulls were so small and skinny when conditioned for a show ring. Not knocking anyone or their dogs but I just think the majority of the dogs are too skinny. When you see the backbone popping out it doesn't look nice to me.

well you put it nicelly anyway their just conditioned athletes like any other athlete and their club is riddled with people who are known to be as good as it gets if anybody from the show reads this i forgot to post yesterday if a dog is overcome with the heat whatever you do don't use ice on it it will only multiply the prolbem i just learned this myself i think its gonna be 90 today good luck to all

i'm sure the subject was braught up many times yesterday about the dog that was overcome by the heat last august now yes it was a good part the owners fault but it was put on ice to help i along with the rest of the people including a vet or vet tech thaught that was best its the total oppsite it just throws the dog into more shock ,,,so the punishment on that muscle bound guy was to harsh especially from the aadr any good luck to all

i think i only saw 1 dog on saturday that i would consider too skinny.
just out of curiosity show me a pic of a dog you think is in the right condition
for a conformation show.

It was a great show, nice to meet everyone out there. Roe did represent with the grill!!

As far as the skinny comment, I did not see any dogs I thought were too skinny. I saw a few that were too fat though, rotfl.

A solid looking dog with a tight waist and a hint of the last few ribs.
More in the way the UKC dogs are conditioned, just a little bit more would be perfect.
