THIS IS THE REASON WHY THIS ACT IS TAKING PLACE ON MARINE BASES. I AM PRIOR NAVY AND I OWNED MY APBT WHILE I WAS IN. THERE ARE ALOT OF THESE IRRESPONSIBLE MILITARY MEMEBERS IN EVERY BANCH. IT ONLY TAKE ONE SPOILED APLE TO RUIN THE BUNCH! THAT FUNCKING DUMB ASS!

Thats were the saying "Ban stupid people" comes from. From the sound of it he doesnt need kids or dogs. Makes you feel good about having someone like that defending the country to. Poor kid paid a hell of a price for his dads stupidity.

 

i was friends with their neighbors.They had guests over one evening, guests brought the dog with them. wasn't the Marine's dog. Base commander had to be politically correct andput the banin place due to pressure from the civilian community, rest of the Marine Corps followed suit. The new breed of choice seems to be boxers. It seems like every corner has a boxer in the backyard now.


I guess it's a good thing i have a Mountain Curr mix.

 

As a former military service member I will bet you money this policy was wrote up by some fag officer looking for a peomotion and this is the only way he could get it, not by hid merits or actions but by some piece of shit policy about animals. Part of the reason I got out is because this country is no longer the country I swore to protect, but instead has turned into a cpuntry of soft, fat pussies, who believe animals deserve to live like people in ac eating caviar. I bet Audie Murphy is spinning in his grave, and if you do not know who that is Google his name, it will be good for you.

 

It annoys me to know ends that society is blacklisting entire breeds because some assholes abused theirs! I love apbts and staffies! They are great dogs! I've even had rescues with aggression issues and turned them around! It is possible! But obviously you all know that!
I can't tell you how pissed that now people are stereotyping marines that we all abuse the breed as well! We are done with the marine Corp! I'm not having some fat fer sitting on his a$$ telling me what pets I can and can't have! Not signing up for that again.
As for adopting! We live where there are Airforce, Army, Navy and Marine Corp...this shelter only adopts to military. They said the order says marine and navy members are no longer allowed to OWN these breeds whether you live on or off base! I think the bitch is lying through her teeth and just doesn't want our branches to have these dogs! Just wondered if anyone else had heard about it! Going to legal on monday! I want that damn dog!

 

The order states they are banned on-installation.

 

"dominant traits of aggression present an unreasonable risk to the health and safety of personnel in family housing areas." How many attacks have our soldiers or their families suffered in the jaws of a pit?! If I remember correctly, it's the radicals that pose the real "risk to the health and safety of personnel and family". Any curr can be a politician.
